Hej! My name is Justin Archer (pictured on the left), and I just wrapped my first year in the full-time MBA program at Chapman University. I am beyond excited to be traveling to Scandinavia this summer. Given that my emphasis is on Global Business, this course will provide insight into how business runs globally. While this will be my first time exploring this portion of Europe, I have been to the continent a fair number of times and am constantly on the move. It was great taking Professor Myhr’s international marketing class this past spring and hearing about everything that goes into the process, and it will be even greater to see it firsthand.
Hey! I am Henry Ficcadenti (pictured on the right), and I just finished my first year of the full-time MBA program. I am very excited to visit Scandinavia. Coming into this program with a music performance and pedagogy background, I am especially eager to visit music companies and enjoy musical experiences. As a group, we will see the headquarters of music streaming behemoth Spotify. During the NAMM convention in Anaheim earlier this year, I connected with Swedish instrument companies, such as Nord, Mellotron, and Freedrum. Perhaps, I will be able to make a brief visit to these companies when we are in Stockholm. At some point during the trip, Professor Myhr hinted that we would enjoy an evening of karaoke, so I am preparing my act.
After the trip, we will continue traveling with Gabby to Oslo. We will take a day trip to the home of Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg in Bergen. We look forward to enjoying these travel and music-related experiences and so much more. We can’t wait! Skål!
