Hello, we are the Norse Network and here is what we think about or upcoming trip to Scandinavia. We are excited to explore Sweden and Finland during our upcoming trip to Scandinavia. Our class will learn about several companies pushing the clean energy movement. We look forward to hearing about all the advancements in technology and learning more about how the companies and their culture. The visits we are looking forward to the most are Volvo Group, SAAB, Northvolt, and Einride. We will see various manufacturing processes and hear about the innovations occurring in electric vehicles, fighter jets, and batteries.

Sweden is considered a high-tech country and currently ranks third in the world on the Digital Economy and Society Index. Digital innovations are a cornerstone of many Swedish business models. Another significant focus of Swedish companies is the green movement and their apparent genuine approach to going green.
Finland has the world’s best education system and the cleanest air. Finland is also known as the world’s happiest country. We have high expectations for how welcoming and helpful people are during our visit. Our future potential application to the 90-day Fin Program will likely depend on how well our time in Helsinki goes. Our potential visit to Supercell is the visit we are looking forward to the most. Supercell has produced games like Clash of Clans for the last 14 years. Though not all of their games have been successful, the games that have managed to break through have been highly successful.
As we move through Sweden, learning about these companies and building bonds with our classmates, we expect to have a great time, and we believe our experiences in Stockholm will be the most fun. Our focus for this trip will be on the various things we saw during our time abroad. While we are in Sweden, the Stockholm Marathon will be occurring, and we believe it will be an exciting event that will bring people from around the world to Sweden.
As our trip began, Jonathon and I expected to meet up in Paris during our layover to work on this initial blog post, but things didn’t work out that way, which is why this post happened a few days into our trip. My flight had to unexpectedly land in Halifax, Canada, for a medical emergency, which prevented me from making it to the airport with enough time for our collaboration.
